In addition to the bridge decks, the approach slabs and parapet walls for all three bridges were removed and replaced. Stearns Road also had a brand new sanitary mainline installed between the Stearns Road bridge over the Ohio Turnpike and Schady Road, including sanitary laterals. Along with the sanitary sewer, a new storm sewer system was installed along Stearns Road. Lastly, the existing Stearns Road pavement was replaced with new full-depth concrete pavement that included a widened driving area and dedicated turn lanes at both the Stearns/Schady and Bagley/Stearns intersections. New signals were installed at the two intersections to accommodate these additional lanes. In addition, new curbs, sidewalks and business/resident drive aprons were installed along Stearns Road between Schady Road and Bagley Road.
